There is no organization out there which provides a full model of community health. We are the Organization who includes WHOLE COMMUNITY'S in the education and proliferation of healthy living. We provide education and resources to empower a community’s physical, social-emotional, mental and financial wellbeing.
What Community Health Means
Community health means that EVERYONE in the community has access to the resources and tools to live THEIR healthiest lives. EVERYONE in the community should have the knowledge and the help they need to change negative health outcomes into positive health outcomes. We EMPOWER every community member with accurate education so all people can live their best lives. This will create healthy and thriving communities!
We want to fill health disparity gaps and stop misinformation dissemination throughout our cities so everyone has access to accurate life saving health education. With this knowledge, we hope that every member of every community can live healthier lives and empower others to live healthier lives. This includes all aspects of the community, not just schools, but churches, businesses, governments and their agencies and many more. Giving people the resources and knowledge to be healthy, we know will help people get their confidence, self-esteem and sense of selves back! THESE ARE NECESSARY building blocks to empower whole community's to thrive. We want to foster more parent and community engagement and get people caring about the health of those around them. Our end goal is to create jobs which will sustain the healthy lifestyles and create the role modeling of these healthy behaviors which build healthy WHOLE COMMUNITIES. By giving students, teachers, parents, and community members the resources and tools to live their best and healthiest lives, we WILL create thriving communities.
We are currently in 22 Cincinnati Public Schools reaching more than 3,000 students. We currently provide Professional Development in Health Education and Physical Education for all Cincinnati Public Schools. We have trained the GREATER CINCINNATI YMCA SUMMER STAFF in Trauma Informed Care and many other organizations in the NORTHERN KENTUCKY/GREATER CINCINNATI AREA.
